What is Larry Stylinson?

Larry Stylinson - A ship¹ brought up by fans of the British boy-band One Direction. It is the belief that members Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are in a romantic relationship. It is believed that they are given fake 'girlfriends', aka 'beards' in order to hide their true identity to achieve greater mainstream success (as straight singers, as opposed to queer). There are many things that happened (and still are happening) that are somehow related to Larry or that had given fans more proof that the couple are still going strong. Larry Stylinson is a very controversial subject. Some people believe it and are arguably 'chill'. Some people will debate you for days to prove this ship's legitimacy, and of course - as there are in every fandom - there are some toxic fans who might offend, insult and belittle others in order to "prove" Larry. However, most people in this fandom² are kind and friendly - as Harry Styles' (and his fans') motto is "Treat People With Kindness", and if you're going as far as to ship, you might listen to what the people you ship have to say. In addition, there are many unsolved mysteries, like who tops, what did Harry whisper in Louis' ear back in that fetus preformance, is Niall really the biggest shipper, what the fuck is a chonce, etc. Often, people who participate in this fandom (or ship Larry) call themselves 'Larries'.
